Short-Term Study Abroad Programs

Autonomous University of Auguascalientes, Mexico

Spanish language and culture training during month of June. Participants receive a 3 hour credit in Spanish and a 3 hour credit in Mexican history and culture. The one month program allows the student to have a total immersion experience in Mexican culture. Participants also have opportunities to travel at the beginning or end of the formal school program. Students will be enrolled in Study Abroad for the 6 semester hours at Marshall University in which they pay the regular tuition. The other costs will vary but the approximate averages are: Roundtrip airfare $550; Lodging for 4 weeks in shared apartment $450; Bus fare from apartment to University $30; Meals $200; International ID including insurance $25; Miscellaneous including laundry, touring, incidental expenses $300 for a total of $1555 plus your regular tuition at Marshall.
