Programs

Homestay Program - students may either live with an area family for the semester or spend a holiday or weekend with a family.

International Table - students and interested community members to get together for informal conversation several times a semester at a local restaurant.

English Conversations Partners - offers students in the L.E.A.P. Program one-on-one contact with other students at Marshall University for whom English is their first language.

Guest Speaker Program - guest speakers from the surrounding community and from different departments visit the campus to talk about topics that have a direct impact on the international students.

Elementary and Secondary School Visitation Program - provides international students, including students in the L.E.A.P. program, the opportunity to visit an elementary, middle school or high school and to share their culture with the children.
